The Richards Family went camping

We went Camping and SURVIVED!!! We ventured out Friday afternoon with all our Gear. We aren't avid campers, so in some respects we Roughed It! We set up camp right next to this little stream. Obviously the boys saw water and off came there shoes. Can you tell that the water was a little cold..... Then we took a little hike. We set out on a trail that looked manageable. We thought we were going on a leisure little hike, and it turned out to be all up hill. Me being almost 8 months pregnant did help!
We did the traditional "Roast Marshmallows" The boys like playing in the fire more than anything. The gooey marshmallow was just an added benefit.
We stayed up really late telling stories!!! No scary stories for us, we can't take it!
The next day we found Hot Springs. Again, off came the boys' shoes and in went there feet.
All in all, it was a great trip and we survived.

I am glad you went camping. Your a good mama. Where was this place? And what name are planning on giving this new little man? I don't think I have asked you that.

Camping 8 months pregnant, it doesn't get any funner than that.Oh, it brings back bad memories from last summer. Me, big,fat pregnant, misrable, camping, trying to have a good time with the fam, but wishing I was else where. Although, those hot spings look like fun.

Way to go Jo! I remember doing that a few years back, trying to sleep but giving up at 5:00 in the morning. I too would like to know where you went camping at. So far this summer we've only camped in the back yard, well not me and elsie, but jed and the other kiddos. I hope the rest of your pregnancy goes well, in the dead of the summer, changing your clothes a few times a day because you are sweating to death or because you keep getting in the kiddie pool! :) Good luck!

So we went to Garden Valley, just past Silver Plunge. I am a little surprised myself that I slept in a tent on the ground. Really, it wasn't that bad, but 1 night was enough! Pregnancy has been pretty easy, but I am definantly not 20 anymore
